I have this friend, A, and I was always bigger than her. Then A gained a bunch of weight, and I lost 2 pounds.  Recently, A posted a TON of pictures where she photo-shopped them to make herself look thinner. I cheated. For the first time since I made the rule, I cheated. A while ago I said, no candy, no fried potatoes (see here)  AND I HAVE BEEN SO GOOD.  until today. Do you typically eat it plain or do you ever jazz it up a bit? I eat Fage cherry or blueberry for breakfast almost everyday, but I have a big tub of vanilla that I've been saving to do something with.

Weekend: NYC, Wedding, Stress, but NO WEIGHT...
Here’s the short version: FRIDAY: Work was HORRIBLE. By far my worst day here. Boss was evil, she yelled a lot, and I was beyond stressed. The result? No time to eat virtually all day, but then lots of stress eating (read: mac and cheese and bbq) Friday night. Oy. SATURDAY: Drove up to NYC. VERY stressful drive. Took almost 8 hours. I live in DC (4.5 hours away). Sheesh. Very little eating...

Afternoon Wins and Failures
WIN: Got this butt to the gym! I was only able to steal away for 30 mins, but that gave me 10 min jog + 12 min power walk + 8 min bike. woot! WIN: Had an apple after my workout, and nothing else. Went to Harris Teeter (grocery store) to get a big ole salad, some greek yogurt, and sliced turkey for protein bursts throughout the week.  Sounds smart, right? And it IS, right up until the point I get a huge heaping scoop of macaroni and cheese from the hot food bar. FAIL. Yes, it was only ONE scoop. But dudes. It’s mac and cheese. A very sad WIW
Im just sad. For two weeks I have been (mostly) eating well and working out at least 4 times a week (huge for me!), which includes starting with a personal trainer. I didn’t expect to loose 30 lbs or anything, but I expected to loose SOMETHING. ANYTHING. But, on this WIW, I see ZERO change. :( It just makes me really sad…

WORKOUT AT WORK! :D
Yes, as hard as it is to get away, I stole an hour and worked out during my work day!!! YAY!!!! 30 minutes on the treadmill (9 running, 21 power walking on an incline. Yeah, I was supposed to do 10 mins running, but Im lame). Plus a few sets of weights… … And now Im back in my office, terrified my boss is going to come down and get all pissy at me for being away.  Worth it? YES.
